Since 2023, Anton Achatz has served as Managing Director of Mer Austria and, as of April 2025, also holds the role of Director of Public Charging at Mer Germany. In this strategically important dual role, he leads the public charging business in both Germany and Austria. With over 13 years of industry experience, he was previously responsible as technical and operational managing director for developing E-WALD GmbH from a publicly funded research project into a company recognized across Europe. After the acquisition by Statkraft in 2021, he initially joined the management team of the sister company Mer Germany within the European Mer Group, before taking over the leadership of Mer Austria. Richard Earl is the Director of Research and Development at EO Charging. For the last 20 years, Richard has been working in the energy and automotive sectors across a number of engineering and leadership roles. Since studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at university he has developed code for safety critical applications such as engine controllers, lead teams of software developers to develop large scale software applications managing millions of end points and he has managed cross functional teams to deliver multiple electronic products to the mass market.
In his roles at EO Charging he has led the successful delivery and evolution of the Mini Pro and Genius families of electric vehicle charging stations - two of which have received nominations for product innovation along with submission for patents. Now Richard oversees the introduction of new charging technology into EO ranging from new protocols, standards and new charging stations in order to solve complex customer problems.

As an advisor, he was primarily responsible for areas within strategy and business development, optimizing business processes and project management, smart energy, intelligent networks, and smart metering.
He began working on his first electric vehicle projects in 2008. He joined Hubject in 2012, where he started as Head of Business Development and Administration. Christian Hahn was appointed CEO of Hubject GmbH in January 2015. Eric is responsible for planning & leading Toyota’s North American eMSP platform. Launching the service within Toyota’s digital App to simplify the ownership experience in 2022 at onset of their first mass market EV, bZ4X. Niklas Behl is Senior Vice President at Amperfied GmbH, a leading provider of electric vehicle charging infrastructure and a subsidiary of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG. Jarrod Birch is the Head of Policy at ChargeUK, the voice of the UK’s EV charging sector. He works with ChargeUK members and Government to shape the policies that can deliver a world-leading charging network in the UK.
Jarrod has worked with the sector since 2020, firstly as a government official in the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles and then as Policy & Advocacy Lead at Shell, where he represented the Shell Recharge and Ubitricity networks in their engagement with UK and EU policymakers. Claas Bracklo is Chairman of the Charging Interface Initiative (CharIN e. V.) and Policy Director at BMW. Claas Bracklo joined BMW in March 2005 and held various positions in research and development with focus on E/E-architectures, system design, hardware/software components and in car networking. Before his current position he was in charge of e-mobility within the powertrain development. He started his career at Mercedes Benz and Daimler in the development of data bus systems. He led several teams and departments in the area of system test, E/E-architecture and ECU-development. Claas Bracklo holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Dortmund.

Head of Communications, German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) Simon Schütz heads the Department of Communication, Events, and Marketing at the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA). He has been with the VDA since 2021.
